Art Weekend

Treat yourself to a weekend of art and enjoy drawing and painting in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. Artist and art lecturer Ewen Duncan and our visiting artists will work with complete beginners to experienced artists during the art workshops and painting & drawing weekends.

Various subject matters are on offer:

  • Painting and drawing
  • Watercolour
  • Colour theory
  • Ceramic handbuilding
  • Life painting

The art studio provides a relaxed, creative atmosphere only 18 miles north of Glasgow. The various art weekends offer drawing, water colour, acrylic, oil painting, life painting, colour theory – see our course calender for dates and subjects. Individual preferences will be catered for and there will be many opportunities to exchange your experience with like-minded creative people during the art weekend.
Lunch, refreshments and all materials are provided during this art short break.

Make it a nice weekend break or even a full week. There are various B&B and self-caterings accommodations close by. We are happy to help with finding accommodation.

The nearby Loch Lomond National Park has many attractions on offer and there are a variety of additional activities near by to choose from for family members or partners who do not want to take part in the art class (golf, fishing, horse riding, walking, mountain biking)

Cruise ship guests are very welcome. Tourists can join existing weekend courses or we offer bespoke weekend group workshops of max 12 people or short notice one-to-one sessions Saturdays or Sundays. Please get in touch for cruise ship art course packages.
