Watercolour Workshop – Sketching in Pen, Ink and Watercolour, Saturday 11 Sept 2021, 10-4pm

Treat yourself to a day of exploring watercolour and enjoy this diverse medium in a relaxed, creative atmosphere in an art studio 20 miles north of Glasgow. Artist and art teacher Frances Douglas will work with complete beginners to experienced artists.

You will learn how to uses this medium in traditional and contemporary ways. Practical tips and advice and high level of personal attention – beginners welcome.

you will learn:
• how to use watercolour materials
• different mark making techniques
• about composition, tones and highlights in watercolour

Make it a nice weekend break or even a full week. There are various B&B and self-caterings accommodations close by. We are happy to help with finding accommodation.

The nearby Loch Lomond National Park has many attractions on offer and there are a variety of additional activities near by to choose from for family members or partners who do not want to take part in the art class (golf, fishing, horse riding, walking, mountain biking)
